Project overview.

PawMitra brings everyday care, health records, provider discovery and preparation into one connected experience. Animal identity stays close to the journey, with species-relevant care for pet parents and cattle caregivers.

THE PEOPLE

Pet parents and cattle caregivers in India, including households caring for more than one animal.

THE SCOPE

Mobile UI, progressive onboarding, animal profiles, care journeys, health passports, provider comparison and an interactive concept.

THE STATUS

Design concept.
UX/UI and interaction design.

The problem.

Animal care stretches across everyday routines, provider discovery, health records, travel and urgent situations. A caregiver needs care that fits the selected animal, enough information to compare providers and a reliable place to find records. Cows and herds need relevant tools without being treated as an afterthought to dogs and cats.

The solution.

Keep animal identity at the centre of a connected care experience. Use progressive onboarding to establish species and context, bring relevant services into Today, and support comparison with detailed provider profiles. Give each animal a health passport, add cow and herd journeys, and separate urgent-help paths from routine discovery while making prototype limits clear.

A few priorities.
A clearer direction.

Three priorities that guide the experience.

01

Start with the animal.

Keep the selected companion visible and make care relevant to its species.

02

Make reassurance useful.

Balance a warm visual language with practical information and clear next steps.

03

Keep urgent help obvious.

Separate emergency actions from everyday browsing and discovery.

A place for everything.
A clearer way through.

The main areas of the experience, organised around the tasks people need to complete.

Designed with intent.
Open to learning.

The design questions come from the brief, not participant interviews. The validation plan proposes task-based checks for provider comparison, health-record retrieval, understanding prototype limits and finding cow or herd tools.

  • Compare service scope, fees and visit options.
  • Select the right animal and retrieve a vaccination record.
  • Recognise the limits of emergency and AI previews.
  • Find cow and herd tools using relevant terminology.

Integrations are not live. Emergency screens do not dispatch responders or provide treatment. AI responses, device readings and sample provider credentials remain concept material.
